The Mildenhall Fen Tigers, proudly sponsored by Manchetts Rescue and Recovery, welcome the Berwick ‘Bullets’ to Mildenhall Stadium this Sunday (4th July 3pm start) hoping to get the home league season up and running.

With their last home fixture versus Eastbourne being a victim of the weather the Fen Tigers have still only raced one league meeting as we head into July

With Jason Edwards away on Championship duty with Eastbourne, the Fen Tigers have secured the services of exciting youngster Nathan Ablitt, who performed exceptionally well at the Mildenhall heat of the British U21 Semi Final to cover the Fen Tigers number one.

Berwick will also be without their number one, as after securing a team place with Wolverhampton in the Premier league Leon Flint has been replaced in the ‘Bullets’ line up by the returning Luke Crang.

Speaking ahead of the meeting promoter Greg Palmer said “We are keeping everything crossed that Sunday can go ahead and that the weather will be kind to us after having to call off the last meeting against Eastbourne. The lad are raring to go and have been having some important practice at the track something we haven’t been able to do in previous years.

Although the loss of Leon Flint will be a blow to the ‘Bullets’ they look a solid team that should give the lads plenty to think about”

Supporters are reminded that the covid restrictions from the first meeting still remain in place for this meeting and fans support in following this is greatly appreciated.

The newly named Danny Ayres stand will be opened with a presentation at 2.30pm on Sunday.
