With Sam Bebee and Elliot Kelly already signed up for 2022, the Mildenhall Fen Tigers proudly sponsored by Manchetts Rescue and Recovery are very pleased to announce the next three Fen Tigers for the forthcoming season.
Featuring a strong Kent connection from 2021 we welcome Ryan Kinsley, Alex Spooner and Josh Warren to Mildenhall.
Ryan Kinsley needs no introduction to Fen Tigers fans being a firm crowd favourite and a star performer in the 2018 team! ‘Flyin’ Ryan has never hidden his wish to return to the Fen Tigers and although this wasn’t possible last season we are pleased to welcome him back for 2022. We feel he is never a better rider than when at Mildenhall and although he comes in on a 9.14 average he will increase that across the season. Ryan will also captain the Fen Tigers in 2022, a role he carried out successfully for the team previously for a period of the 2018 season.
Alex Spooner is well known to supporters who stayed behind to support the 2016 Tiger Cubs MDL team, where Sam Bebee was a team mate of his. Since then Spooner has been steadily improving at Kent and he had another very solid season in 2021. A real trier who never leaves anything in the pits he joins us on a 6.40 average and is another rider we feel sure will improve further in 2022.
The third ex Kent rider is Josh Warren. A late starter in National Development League terms, 21 year old Warren had his first season in the league in 2021. With a full season behind him we expect him to leave his 3.00 average behind in 2022 and he has the advantage of strong support in his corner from ex Fen Tiger hero’s Danny King and Ritchie Hawkins. When not racing himself Josh mechanics for King and it is hoped King will return the favour as time allows
