A trip out to the ‘City Of Dreaming Spires’ for Mildenhall Fen Tigers – proudly sponsored by Manchetts Rescue and Recovery – today (Wednesday 24th. August) with the dream being to overhaul the Oxford Chargers in the race for the top four NDL Play Off positions.

With four ex-Fen Tigers in the opposition ranks and a first trip to the famous Cowley home of Oxford Speedway for close to a decade and a half, it’s a combination of the familiar and the unfamiliar for Mildenhall.

Late team news is that Luke Muff is still declared unfit to resume at reserve for the visitors and coming in is Sam Woods. The 28-year-old from Boston, Lincs actually spent a couple of weeks in Oxford’s declared line-up earlier this year without being used in any home matches by the Chargers and will be keen to show his nearly-employers what they’ve missed.

Teams in alphabetical order (with averages):

Oxford Chargers:
Henry Atkins 5.60; Arran Butcher 4.10; Jacob Clouting 4.23; Sam Hagon 6.00; Jordan Jenkins 9.71; Jody Scott 5.91; Rider Replacement for Nathan Stoneman

Mildenhall Fen Tigers:
Max Clegg [G[ 8.66; Jason Edwards 9.42; Jack Kingston 7.00; Alex Spooner 6.40; Josh Warren 4.75; Sam Woods 3.00; Rider replacement for Sam Bebee

Note: Oxford Speedway has an advance tickets only system of entry – supporters should go to www.oxfordspeedway.club/tickets to book their e-tickets for the match which is on Wednesday 24th. August, 7.30pm start time.

Venue address: Oxford Stadium, Sandy Lane, Cowley, OX4 6LJ
