Following a nine point defeat on Thursday evening on the Island, the Mildenhall Fen Tigersroudly sponsored by Manchetts Rescue and Recovery will be looking to get their first National Trophy points this Sunday (28th April at 3pm) in the return fixture at West Row.
The Fen Tigers go into the meeting with two pieces of good news following a difficult evening on Thursday, firstly Charlie Brooks has been passed fit to return to the team nd secondly the Fen Tigers management have received confirmation of their redeclaration bringing Matt Marson into their line- up.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s meeting Team Manager Malcolm Vasey said “We have an opportunity to quickly put Thursday’s defeat behind us and get up and running in our National Trophy group and we must take it. It will be no easy task as the Warriors have a very strong top two in Georgie Wood and Ben Morley who both go well at Mildenhall, and in Danno Verge, Chris Widman and Ryan Terry Daley three ex Fen Tigers in their ranks. We need to start fast and put our visitors onto the back foot and then we can hopefully control the meeting.
It is very good news that Charlie will be back with us on Sunday and I am confident of a repeat performance of last Sundays win and our first three points in our Trophy group”
