The Mildenhall Fen Tigers proudly sponsored by Manchetts Rescue and Recovery will be looking to strengthen their position at the head othe National Trophy table when they head west this Friday evening to face the Plymouth Gladiators.
It will be a much changed Fen Tigers team however, as Championship calls, exams and injury robs Mildenhall of Danny Ayres, Jason Edwards and David Wallinger respectively. Cradley number one Max Clegg replaces Ayres, whilst 2018 Plymouth rider and ex Fen Tiger Ryan Terry Daley covers for Wallinger. Mildenhall will operate rider replacement for Edwards.
The Gladiators with have Richard Andrews back in their line up after he missed the visit to West Row recently, whilst Sheldon Davies continues to cover for the injured Jamie Bursill. Fen Tigers team manager is looking for his charges to bounce back after the KO Cup tie at Leicester, he said “We head to Plymouth confident we can put on a good show even though we are missing our top three. The management team have worked hard to get excellent replacements who go well at Plymouth and we can, I feel, be very competitive and come away with something from this long trip.
A good performance on Friday will set us up nicely for Sunday’s clash with Kent”
