Following a successful weekend last week, the Mildenhall Fen Tigers proudly sponsored by Manchetts Rescue and Recovery look to continue their run when they face the highly fancied Leicester Lion Cubs.
The Fen Tigers are still looking to secure a suitable reserve to cover for the injured Elliot Kelly who is likely to miss the next two-three weeks but will be hoping their top five can fire with the same power as they did in the victory against Stoke. The Cubs are without ex Fen Tiger Luke Ruddick and will operate rider replacement whilst they also include another ex Fen Tiger in their ranks Ryan Terry Daley.
Ahead of Sundays clash Team Manager Malcolm Vasey said “We havechad a difficult time sourcing a suitable replacement for Elliot and we will continue to seek the rider who will make that important difference as I feel this could be a close contest. The top five were in fine form last Sunday and with four of them getting Championship experience I expect them to be at their sharpest especially from the gate.
As I said last week we have to win our home meetings whilst picking up a few points on our travels, then we can look forward to a place in the play offs. We are still in the chase for a play off spot be sure of that! We need our excellent support base to be right behind as there is no doubt it has a positive effect on the team”
