Fen Tigers

The Mildenhall Fen Tigers, proudly sponsored by Manchetts Rescue and Recovery suffered a heavy defeat at The National Stadium under very difficult circumstances.

Already without Charlie Brooks and running rider replacement Ryan Kinsley and Arran Butcher both suffered bike problems throughout the evening. With the rain falling during the first ten heats, and the referee trying to push the meeting along there was little time for the Fen Tigers men to sort their issues and although they battled to the end they could not contain their opponents.

Team Manager Malcom Vasey praised his battered troops, he said “It is very hard to have any complaints about the lads tonight, they battled for the whole evening under difficult circumstances and without the help I would have hoped for from the referee on a most difficult track. Ryan suffered fuel issues whilst Arran had issues with both his bikes. That said heads never dropped and I am proud of the spirit shown. We will dust ourselves down and prepare for Saturday at Leicester”
